Juventus put on yet another frustrating display as they conceded a lead to Fiorentina before holding on for a 1-1 draw.
Juve took the lead early on thanks to a goal from Arkadiusz Milik,
but Christian Kouame quickly leveled the score and made it an attack versus defense exercise,
which was very difficult for Juventus to take.
One of the uglier goals you’re likely to see this season was forced into play by summer signing Milik after just nine minutes as the visitors came out with some respectable energy.
Filip Kostic was assisted by Juan Cuadrado’s cross, and Milik’s tummy helped push Kostic’s volley over the goal line.
Fiorentina were active and looking for a reaction. Before Antonin Barak and Youssef Maleh’s attempts were scrambled away by some last-ditch Juve blocks
Kouame sent a soft header straight at Mattia Perin.
Fiorentina’s equalizer actually came from a Juve corner just before the half-hour mark, despite all their effort and possession.
