For Shakhtar, it’s an early penalty, and Bologna has a dreadful start. Posch knocks down Eguinaldo in the penalty area and is given a yellow card.

Although the visitors lost an early opportunity, they are now in control of the game and have emerged as the victorious team.

Fabbian makes good progress down the right side and crosses into the penalty area center, where he looks for Castro, but a late Shakhtar defender interception sends the ball behind for a corner.

Shakhtar is awarded a free kick, which they take into the penalty area. Skorupski lunges forward, punches the ball clear, and even knocks out a Shakhtar player.

An unmarked Lucumi receives a cross from Orsolini, but his attempt is blocked inside the penalty area, and he misses the target with his follow-up.

Ndoye loses a chance after Orsolini mishandles a pass in his way, and the winger ultimately makes a good save to stop a goal kick. The captain of Bologna then misses a post with a shot.

Newerton demonstrates excellent footwork to elude the defender after Bondarenko embarks on a strong run, but his low cross is intercepted, allowing Bologna to reclaim the lead.

Pedrinho catches Orsolini late, giving the hosts a free kick in a dangerous position. Lykogiannis attempts a goal, but his effort finds its way into Riznyk’s arms. Riznyk dives to claim a low cross that Ndoye receives into the penalty box as he turns away from his defender.
