Bologna extended their advantage over Napoli when Emil Holm delivered a cross from the right following a free kick, connecting with Lucumi for a header from six yards out, marking his inaugural Serie A goal.
Noa Lang entered the match as a substitute and had his pull-back from the by-line deflected onto the base of the upright, while David Neres made a crucial defensive block to stop Juan Miranda from tapping in the Federico Bernardeschi assist at the far post.
