Cremonese preserved their flawless record, recovering from losing a 2-0 advantage to Sassuolouolo to secure a victory with a goal in the 93rd minute. Final score was Cremonese 3-2 Sassuolo.
Alessio Zerbin had two consecutive attempts blocked, followed by Andrea Pinamonti’s attempt, which was directed directly at Emil Audero.
Cremonese began the scoring with the inaugural Serie A goal from former Milan full-back Filippo Terracciano, who was granted an unimpeded header by Matic during the Jari Vandeputte corner kick.

Merely 120 seconds later, Cremonese led 2-0. Zerbin intercepted Josh Doig to initiate the counterattack, executed a dummy for Franco Vazquez, who maneuvered past two defenders for an angled shot that Vazquez redirected into the net with his knee from close range.
Audero extended his fingertips to deflect a Berardi free kick from the upper corner, and on the ensuing set piece, Pinamonti was unfortunate to have his curling shot from a challenging angle strike both the underside of the crossbar and the interior of the far post.
Sanabria might have increased the score to 3-0 after the interval, his diving header from five yards sent straight at the Sassuolo goalie.
The visitors re-entered the match when substitute Cristian Volpato’s through ball was not intercepted by Federico Baschirotto, enabling Pinamonti to receive the ball with his back to goal, pivot, and score low into the near bottom corner from 12 yards.

The contest transformed when another substitute, Alieu Fadera, sprinted down the left flank, executed a step-over, and was subsequently fouled by Alberto Grassi. Domenico Berardi struck the near bottom corner to successfully convert the penalty and equalize for Sassuolo.
Berardi initiated a perilous counterattack and had the opportunity to shoot, but opted to pass to Volpato, resulting in an interception.
On 84 minutes, Cremonese scored when Romano Floriani Mussolini collided with Fali Cande and assisted David Okereke, but the referee annulled the goal due to a shove.
Edoardo Iannoni’s slanted shot narrowly missed the target for Sassuolo in a tumultuous conclusion, after which Floriani Mussolini countered from a Neroverdi corner, releasing Manuel De Luca on goal and compelling Arijanet Muric to execute a frantic leg stop in a one-on-one situation.
The action continued when the agile Floriani Mussolini caught Fadera off guard and was fouled, resulting in another penalty, which Manuel De Luca successfully scored for his inaugural Serie A goal.
