With goals from new player Ange-Yoan Bonny, Lautaro Martinez, and Marcus Thuram, Inter defeated Torino 5-0.
Just 44 seconds into the game, Marcus Thuram headed the ball into the ground. At 17th Minute, Alessandro Bastoni, who had separated from his defender, managed to glance the ball into the near post from corner kick, giving Inter the lead.
Sucic quickly found Thuram on the right with a precise angled pass, leading to the second goal from open play giving a strong lead to Inter.
This came after Henrikh Mkhitaryan had battled through a group of players near the edge of the area. He then pointed toward his brother Khephren and father Lilian, who were seated in the stands.
On his Serie A debut, Sucic made an impact by challenging Franco Israel from the edge of the box.
However, the Torino goalkeeper had to make two vital saves before halftime. He also parried a powerful Sucic volley, after first diving to palm a header from Francesco Acerbi away from the crossbar following a corner.
Simeone missed a chance to score after turning away from the ball, and Thuram’s curling shot was just wide of the target after the break.
Instead, when Gvidas Gineitis passed the ball weakly from the back to his own goalkeeper, Lautaro Martinez seized the opportunity and scored into an empty net.
Benjamin Pavard was fortunate to avoid a red card when debutant Zakaria Aboukhlal fired directly at Yann Sommer, but Israel made crucial saves at the back post from another corner.
Thuram then headed the ball from Bastoni’s cross on the left, tipping it back across the goal, leading to the fourth goal a few seconds later.
Torino conceded a fifth goal due to poor defending, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan struck the post from a Bonny through pass.
Just a few minutes into his debut, Bonny scored from 12 yards out after Torino’s attempts to play from the back were again intercepted.
