Having agreed a €12 million deal with Hellas Verona, including bonuses, Juan Cabal will undergo a medical this week, and Juventus have successfully snatched him away from Inter.
Just a few hours earlier, a number of reliable sources were predicting that the Nerazzurri had signed the Colombian player to a personal terms deal worth €10 million plus add-ons.
But this afternoon Juventus dove in headfirst and swiftly sealed a contract with the club and the agent.
Fabrizio Romano reported that deal is done and sealed and player heading to Turin for medicals.
Cabal will join Juventus for €10 million with a further €2 million in performance-based bonuses.
The defender will have a physical in the next day or two before signing a five-year deal worth €1.2 million per season plus add-ons.
Because of his versatility, Cabal can fill in for Riccardo Calafiori at left back or central defender if the team needs him to.
The Bologna defender and Juve had already agreed on personal terms, and already arrived in Turin to do his medicals.
