Juventus secure a 2-0 win over Monza thanks to the goals from Nico Gonzalez and Kolo Muani. Despite being down to 10-men in first half, Juve fought till the end to maintain their lead.
Juventus has the game’s opening opportunity when Cambiaso flicks a long ball into the path of Kolo Muani, who tries a bicycle kick but Turati beats it away in the Monza goal.

With no Juventus player in his immediate vicinity, Birindelli ran with the ball for more than 60 yards as Monza broke swiftly. After weighing his choices, he checks onto his left foot and tries to shoot, but Di Gregorio to his left saves it.

Juventus overcame Monza 2-0 despite being down a man for the first half and are still in the running to qualify for the Champions League the following season. Gonzalez’s incredible long-range goal gave the Horne side the lead, and the first half was the action. After excellent work from Thuram, Kolo Muani scored with a confident finish, although he missed a chance to double their lead from a few yards out. The hosts should have had it easy from there, but a VAR review made their evening a little more challenging when Yildiz was sent off for violent behavior. They were never threatened, though, and absorbed all of Monza’s pressure in the second half.
