The Derby della Mole was won by Juventus thanks to the efforts of Tim Weah and Kenan Yildiz, although Torino still has injury issues.

After racing down the left past two challenges to reach the by-line, Andrea Cambiaso gave Juventus their first genuine chance by testing Vanja Milinkovic-Savic with an angled drive that was only deflected into Tim Weah’s tap-in.

Dusan Vlahovic blasted directly at the goalie after shaking off Saul Coco, while Cambiaso also fired over following another impressive run. Juventus were clearly controlling the game.

Teun Koopmeiners was able to fire from the box’s edge and charge down by Coco’s chest during a free kick routine. The Dutchman experienced a similar result during the Cambiaso pull-back.

Despite losing Ivan Ilic to a muscle issue, Toro came out fighting after the restart, with Pierre Kalulu blocking an attempt by Karol Linetty.

On minute seventy-one, Weah had the ball in the net for the second time, but he mishandled the Koopmeiners pass with his hand before hammering it into the far bottom corner.

Francisco Conceicao used his left-foot curler from the area’s edge to scrape a layer of paint off the far top corner. Shortly afterward, the Portuguese prodigy scored the second goal by running down the right and then floating a cross to the back post, where Kenan Yildiz dived for it.
