After professing his passion for the Rossoneri shirt numerous times in the past, Milan defender Fikayo Tomori is determined to stay at the San Siro for many years to come. The Chelsea youth product is expected to sign a contract extension with Milan that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2027.
The english defender was instrumental in Milan’s journey to their first Scudetto win in almost a decade last season, making 40 consecutive appearances. Both the club and the defender’s entourage are working hard to finalize the extension agreement, with the defender himself unconcerned about his present salary.
Tomori appears to be following in the footsteps of Sandro Tonali and Theo Hernandez, where their net pay did not play a significant factor in influencing their decision to stay. In his two seasons, he has established himself as a fan favorite. The England goalkeeper is now paid €2 million net per season, but despite his silence on the subject, it is expected that Milan would raise his compensation to around €3.5-4 million.
