Isaac Success, Lazar Samardzic and Nehuen Perez scored before halftime for Udinese in a 3-0 victory over Cremonese.
Lazar Samardzic’s impressive finish into the far bottom corner of the goal taking a vicious twist off the outside of his left boot, took less than two minutes to break the scoreless tie for Udinese.
Frank Tsadjout was unable to capitalise on an Emanuele Valeri pull-back at the near post, and Leonardo Sernicola nearly prevented Destiny Udogie from scoring when he collected a Roberto Pereyra cross and outran Marco Carnesecchi.
Cyril Dessers struck the base of the upright, but it would have been called offside because Buonaiuto had to move out of the way of the ball.
Nehuen Perez rose to meet Lovric’s free kick from close range with his head, giving Udinese another goal to double their lead.
Isaac Success finally scored his first goal in Serie A, beating the offside trap on long ball and racing past defenders to score off the inside of the far post.
Kingsley Ehizibue’s shot at the near post was blocked by Carnesecchi, and Marco Silvestri was beat when Buonaiuto’s header sailed just wide of the near post. Following Emanuel Aiwu’s mistake, Beto stung Carnesecchi’s gloves before turning just inches too far to reach Tolgay Arslan’s cross.
