While inside the box, Christian Pulisic is able to take a step forward with a pass that splits up the opposition. He takes a shot towards the right side of the goal without even glancing in that direction, but Razvan Sava makes an amazing save to block it. Great start for Milan.
Santiago Gimenez is presented with an excellent opportunity to score from inside the six-yard box, but Razvan Sava does an incredible save by blocking his shot directed towards the centre of the goal.
In an effort to connect with his teammate, who is in a favourable position to score, Strahinja Pavlovic passes the ball from the edge of the box. However, the defender blocks the pass and kicks the ball away from danger.
Christian Pulisic makes an effort to manoeuvre himself into a position where he can send the ball into the box after carving out some space for himself. But the defender manages to get a foot in to clear the ball.
Christian Pulisic was in the right place at the right moment to go to the rebound inside the area and happily rifled the ball into the middle of the net. Milan takes the lead just before the half time.
After being challenged by the defender, Keinan Davis falls to the ground in the penalty area. The referee simply waves play on, possibly not noticing the incident.
Inside the area, Youssouf Fofana leapt on a loose ball and defeated the custodian with a shot that landed in the bottom left corner making it 0-2 for Milan
After a skirmish inside the box, Adrien Rabiot is able to advance the ball to Christian Pulisic, who wastes no time in placing the ball in the bottom right corner of the net. Milan now having a strong 0-3 lead and pretty much closed the game already.
Alexis Saelemaekers makes an attempt to connect with his teammates by passing the ball, but it does not reach any of them. Fikayo Tomori dashes towards the outside of the penalty area after receiving a long pass. He takes his chances by shooting from that spot, but his attempt soars well over the crossbar.
A brilliant short pass provides Christopher Nkunku with a great opportunity to score a goal, but he makes a mistake and sends the ball flying high over the bar.
While Nicolo Zaniolo has positioned himself in a such that he is free within the box, his attempt to shoot the ball is skilfully blocked by one of the players on the other team.
An excellent save has been executed by Razvan Sava! He jumped to intercept the shot that Alexis Saelemaekers had aimed towards the goal following a rebound. His attempt from within the box sailed directly towards the bottom right corner.
