Milan secured their first win of UEFA Champions League by defeating 10-men Brugge at San siro. Reijnders scored a brace while Pulisic scored a goal too.

Milan remained on equal footing under Maignan. After Tzolis got to the edge of the box and shot hard and low towards the center of the goal, the Milan goalkeeper hurried out and tightened the angle. He then made an incredible stop with his leg.

Club Brugge advanced into some open areas, and Jutgla set up a shot. But he misses the crossbar with his 20-yard shot. Jutgla ran unopposed across the middle of the field before finding Tzolis on the left with a pass. Maignan was equal to the latter’s minimal effort as he curled again.

The ball went out to huge center-back Ordonez, who sent a blazing 20-yard shot against the crossbar after De Cuyper had a shot charged down.

Pulisic had become alert. When Leao and Morata connect, the USA star gets the ball ten yards out. He takes a low shot at the target from a tight angle, but Mignolet stopped it well.

When Jutgla ran in from the left, Maignan stopped him once more. The Milan goalkeeper’s outstretched foot stopped the striker’s low shot from a close angle.

Pulisic scored straight off a corner kick, giving the Rossoneri a 1-0 lead at San Siro. For Milan, he did it once again. Pulisic scored his seventh goal for the club this season after curling the ball past Mignolet at the near post.

Pulisic grabbed the ball and attempted to score from 20 yards out after Hernandez took a corner kick short on the right. But his attempt missed the left-hand post by a wide margin.

A young substitute, Sabbe, scores his first goal after Tzolis worked the ball to Vetisen in Milan’s area. It’s 1-1 at San Siro, and the 10-man visitors are back in the game.

Milan had lead again with score being 2-1. Okafor made an immediate impression after being called in for Leao, sprinting to the left byline and cutting an enticing low pass back for Reijnders. Without hesitation, the Dutchman drilled it into the back of the net and past Mignolet.

Tomori nearly flicked the ball into the net after a brief flurry of activity in the Club Brugge defense following a comer, but Mignolet stopped him. When Jashari made a complete mess of his clearance, the ball had already bounced back off the crossbar.

Reijnders extended Milan’s lead with two goals. A second substitution had a significant effect when Chukwueze cut the ball back after driving into space on the right and Reijnders came on to seal the victory. At San Siro, he selected the bottom-right corner to give the Rossoneri a 3-1 lead.

Milan could’ve made history in this game as Camarda became the youngest player to score a Champions League goal but it was called off as he was offside.
