Leao was replaced for the second half by Junior Messias, who scored within the first ten minutes after Theo Hernandez sped past a defender.
Rebic assisted Alexis Saelemaekers, who saw his shot cleared off the line, but Adli was waiting for the rebound and gave a fist-pump to celebrate his first goal.
After Stefano Pioli made numerous substitutions, Matteo Gabbia made it 5-0 with a header. Antonio Mirante had to make a few saves to keep the scoreless record intact.
