Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is receiving a lot of attention for his performances with Napoli, but if the Georgian were to leave, his ideal destination would conflict with those of his agent and father.
The player himself would prefer to play for Real Madrid, but Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent acknowledges that both he and the player’s father will indeed love to see him join Barcelona.
The Napoli star has emerged this season, aiding Italy’s dominance at home and in Europe as they pursue their first Serie A victory in more than three years. When he moved from Dinamo Batuni in the summer, Kvaratskhelia was an unknown, but he is now drawing admiring looks from some of Europe’s top players.
The 21-year-old Georgian prefers a switch to Bernabeu if he were to move to LaLiga, with Barcelona and their Spanish rivals Madrid long being the dream destinations for players. However, Kvaratskhelia’s agent Mamuka Jugeli has acknowledged that she is happy in Naples.
To ward off potential suitors in the summer, the Serie A leaders reportedly slapped an £87 million price tag on Kvaratskhelia in an effort to keep him in Naples. Additionally, the player is under contract to the club through 2027, giving them leverage in any negotiations.
