Both clubs officially announced on Wednesday that defender Benjamin Pavard of the France national team was moving from Bayern Munich to Inter Milan.
The terms of the player’s contract with Simone Inzaghi’s squad have not been made public, but Italian media outlets have stated that the 27-year-old has joined the club for a transfer fee of approximately €32 million and signed a five-year deal.
In 2019, Pavard made the move to Bayern Munich from VfB Stuttgart, where he had previously won the Bundesliga title four times.
Additionally, he won the 2018 World Cup with the French national team in Russia.
Inter has gotten off to a strong start in the Serie A season, winning both of their first two matches.
Inzaghi, on the other hand, had indicated that he was looking to acquire the services of an experienced defender after Milan Skriniar had moved on to play for Paris Saint-Germain.
