eBay, a US-based online retailer, has elevated its sponsorship status with Inter Milan by taking on the role of shirt sleeve sponsor for the Italian soccer team.
The relationship between eBay and FC Internazionale Milano has advanced significantly. In accordance with the contract signed at the start of the season, the top global online marketplace has been named the club’s Official E-commerce Partner and will be displayed on the Nerazzurri’s jersey sleeves.
“We’re delighted to announce this new and significant development in the agreement between Inter and eBay, following on from the start of the partnership a few months ago. The presence of the eBay logo on the club’s shirt sleeves is proof of our brand’s growing attractiveness, and the reason behind a leading global e-commerce brand choosing Inter as their first incursion into football sponsorship.”
CEO Corporate FC Internazionale Milano, Alessandro Antonello
“Innovation and the continuous pursuit of excellence are the bedrocks and shared values on which our partnership with Inter is based. This bond was further strengthened today gaining visibility on the club’s shirt, one of its most important commercial assets. We’re proud to have such prominence on what is a highly symbolic item for Inter fans.”
