Ivan Ilic, a midfielder for Hellas Verona, has chosen to accept Torino’s offer despite Olympique Marseille’s objections.
Since several weeks ago, Verona has been in a bidding war for Ilic’s services between Torino and Marseille, who have both submitted offers.
Ilic, who chose Torino over Marseille and made his choice known, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, prompted the Granata to try and reach an agreement with Verona.
Furthermore, Torino could sign him right away in January as opposed to July like Marseille.
Since joining Verona in September 2020, the player has made 76 appearances, making five goals and dishing out six assists.
