Juventus close to renewing star defender

According to a recent report by Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are getting very close to finalizing a new deal with Gleison Bremer, and the parameters of the transaction have already been decided.

According to Romano, the Brazilian will sign a contract that is valid until June 2028 after getting off to a sensational start during the 2023/24 season.

Bremer has been given a spot on the Brazil national squad for the upcoming international break, during which they will compete in World Cup Qualifying matches against both Colombia and Argentina.

This season in Serie A, Bremer has played a total of 12 games for Juventus, during which he has recorded one goal and helped the team keep eight clean sheets. Over the course of those 12 games, the Brazilian has logged 1,074 minutes of playing time.

After 12 games, Juventus is in second place in the Serie A standings, having won nine, drawn two, and only lost one of those contests. They are now in second place in the league, two points behind Inter Milan, with 29 points after this.

In the first game back from the international break, which will take place at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, November 26, the two teams now ranked first and second will square off against each other.
