Medical examinations revealed that Angel Di Maria had a left thigh injury, and he may be forced to sit out a few of Juventus matches.
A little over an hour into his Serie A debut, the 34 year old winger was removed by Massimiliano Allegri after putting in a solid performance in front of his new supporters. Di Maria contributed an assist and a goal in the 3-0 victory over Sassuolo, but he will now have to wait before making another.
According to Bianconeri official statement,
Angel Di Maria underwent radiological examinations this morning at J | Medical which revealed a low-grade lesion of the adductor longus muscle of the left thigh. The extent of the injury will re-evaluated in 10 days.

Di Maria will be forced to miss Juventus’ games against Sampdoria, Roma, Spezia, Fiorentina and Salernitana if his injury lasts for a month. Bianconeri will be hoping that Angel Di Maria’s subsequent round of medical tests reveal signs of improvement.
