Arkadiusz Milik and Juventus are on the verge of reaching an agreement regarding a new contract, which would require him to first extend his current deal with Olympique Marseille.
The center forward spent the current season on loan in Juventus, where he made 39 appearances in competitive play, scored nine goals, and contributed one assist.
The Bianconeri had the opportunity to buy the asset for €7 million, but they did not exercise this option before the deadline passed.
Transfer news expert Gianluca Di Marzio, claims that Juventus are close to reaching an agreement with Marseille regarding new terms that would allow them to keep Milik on a permanent basis.
It will be a loan again, but this time there will be a purchase stipulation at the end of the season if certain performance standards are met in the sporting arena.
In order for this to be possible, the Poland international player, who is currently 29 years old, needs to sign a new one-year contract extension with Marseille that runs through June 2026.
His current contract won’t expire until June of 2025 at the earliest.
