John Murtough, the director of football at Manchester United, will meet the agent of Adrien Rabiot, today to finalise personal terms prior to a €17 million transfer from Juventus.
After a deal to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona appears to have fallen through for a number of murky reasons, Manchester United have turned to the controversial Frenchman.
Although the Red Devils are still in the running to sign the Dutchman, it would seem that they are moving forward with the transfer of the 27-year-old regardless of what happens, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Rabiot has previously played for Toulouse and Paris Saint-Germain. Despite his five Ligue 1 championships and one Serie A title, he has a history of inconsistent discipline, including being penalised for being late.
