According to a rumor in today’s French media, Marseille president Pablo Longoria is waiting for Inter and Alexis Sanchez to reach an agreement on severance pay before offering a contract to the Chilean.
According to the French newspaper L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 club has been in contact with the Chilean forward for some days and is now ready to make a move. All that remains is for Inter and Alexis Sanchez to finalize the details of how they would terminate the one-year contract. The fee to make that happen is expected to be €5 million.
Following that, Pablo Longoria will finalize the offer for Alexis Sanchez, who is being paid €7 million each year.
Other sources yesterday suggested that Inter may have to pay closer to €7 million due to payroll delays during the outbreak.
