Ismael Bennacer is leaving Milan to begin a new chapter at OM in France.
Bennacer joined Milan from Empoli in 2019 and quickly established himself as a key member of the team, helping the team win the Scudetto in 2022.
Bennacer hasn’t had a fantastic couple of years, though, since he missed the majority of them due to a knee injury and only returned to the field in early December.
Sérgio Conceição replaced him at halftime in the Derby and swiftly threw him into the starting lineup, but the two will not play together again.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Rossoneri and Olympique de Marseille reached a deal with Bennacer today. According to Bouhafsi, OM will give the 27-year-old €12 million plus €3 million in bonuses.
Warren Bondo, who comes from Monza, will take the Algerian international’s place in the team.
