At the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Saturday, September 10, Serie A will feature a match between Napoli and Spezia. When Napoli hosts Spezia, they hope to achieve even greater success.
Although Napoli thrashed Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday, there will undoubtedly be a hangover this weekend as a result of their intense efforts to defeat the Reds. While a victory over Spezia is still possible, fatigue may sap Napoli’s team’s enthusiasm, which could lead to a low-scoring contest. Under 3.5 goals this weekend is offered at a generous price because Spezia has allowed two goals or fewer in four of its five Serie A games this season.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a sensation from Georgia, was outstanding against Liverpool in a midweek match; he didn’t score, but he did contribute an assist. Since the summer, the 21-year-old has scored four goals in five domestic games. Against Spezia, Kvaratskhelia will have a bigger goal-scoring burden because Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is injured. The youngster is capable of handling the added stress, so it might be worthwhile to back him this weekend to raise his early total.
The only player currently listed as out injured for Napoli is Diego Demme, but Victor Osimhen, who was substituted midweek against Liverpool with what appeared to be a hamstring injury, is unlikely to play this weekend.
Although Spezia’s Kelvin Amian-Adou is out until next month, Salvador Ferrer, another defender, should be able to make the team. David Strelec, Daniel Maldini, and Daniele Verde are all anticipated to miss Saturday’s game, giving Spezia three problems up front.
Possible Lineup for Napoli: Meret, Di Lorenzo, Rrhamani, Min-Jae, Olivera, Zambo Aguissa, Lobotka, Politano, Zielinski, Kvaratskhelia, Simeone
Possible Lineup for Spezia: Dragowski, Hirstov, Kiwior, Nikolaou, Holm, Kovalekno, Bourabia, Bastoni, Reca, Nzola, Gyasi
