Milan vs Atalanta Match Preview

Last weekend saw winning starts for both Atalanta and Milan, so their Serie A matchup on Sunday will be challenging. The current Milan is on fire so it will be entertaining match to witness the attacking football

This weekend, I am betting on Rossoneri to defeat Atalanta because they have won all three of their previous encounters with Atalanta, two of which took place in Bergamo. While AC Milan has won five from their last six games, including a recent 4-2 victory over Udinese, Atalanta has lost two from their last three games overall.

On Sunday, there is a high likelihood that goals will be scored at both sides of the field because both teams are loaded with offensive talent. Rossoneri won the last meeting between the two teams at San Siro, 3-2.

On the season opener , Atalanta defeated Sampdoria 2-0, but they had to work very hard for their three points. After 26 minutes, defender Toloi gave Atalanta the lead after good work from Pasalic, who also received credit for the goal. However, it wasn’t until late in stoppage time that the visitors scored the vital second goal to secure all three points.

At home against Udinese, Milan started the Serie A title defense. When Udinese took a lead after just two minutes, things got off to a bad start for the home team. However, Milan came back strongly, drawing even with a penalty kick from Hernandez in the 11th minute, and then winning the game with Rebic four minutes later. Udinese, however, equalized in first-half stoppage time, ensuring a tie between the two teams at halftime. Diaz gave AC Milan the lead again less than a minute after the break, and Rebic added his second goal of the contest in the 68th minute to seal Rossoneri’s victory.

Possible Lineup for Atlanta: Musso, Tolói, Djimsiti, Hateboer, Mæhle, Okoli, de Roon, Pašalić, Koopmeiners, Zapata, Luis Muriel
