Milan will play Vicenza in their final preseason friendly of the summer on Saturday, and it appears they may use the opportunity to finalise the deal for Mancini, having been working on it in recent days and weeks.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are nearing the end of negotiations with the Serie C club to sign the 18-year-old, who has already made nine first-team appearances despite his young age..

Juventus were also interested in signing him, but the Rossoneri acted decisively and are finalising the details with the player after reaching an agreement with the Venetians on a transfer fee.

Milan will pay Vicenza €1.5 million plus bonuses, and the plan is for Mancini to start with the Primavera, where he should get regular minutes, before assessing his development.
