As per reports, Daichi Kamada has agreed to join Milan as a free agent, with medicals scheduled in coming days.
According to Patrick Berger, the transfer of Daichi Kamada from Eintracht Frankfurt to AC Milan is almost complete. In the summer, Kamada will sign a contract as a free agent with the Serie A club, which will be for a period of five years.
Over the course of the past few months, Kamada and Frankfurt have come to an agreement that the Japanese international will be leaving Die Adler when his contract expires in June. This decision comes as a result of the fact that Kamada is a member of Die Adler.
On the other hand, the location of his final destination has never been established. Kamada has chosen to move to Milan rather than Atlético Madrid in order to take advantage of Milan’s qualification for the Champions League ahead of the next season. He has also decided to reject a “top proposal” from Borussia Dortmund.
This season at Deutsche Bank Park, Kamada has been a significant contributor, as evidenced by the fact that he has appeared in 46 games and scored 16 goals. After failing to qualify for European competition on the final matchday of the Bundesliga season, he was able to lead the club to the final of the DFB-Pokal, where they will face RB Leipzig. If they are victorious in this match, they will advance to the Europa League.
