Monza has made a formal offer to borrow the Arsenal defender, Pablo Mari for the 2022–23 season.
After making an impression while wearing the Udinese jersey in the second half of last season, the 28-year-old, who is no longer in favour at Arsenal, has been connected to several Italian teams this summer.
Monza, who were recently promoted to Serie A for the first time in their history, face a tough task maintaining their place among Italy’s elite, but if they succeed, transfer expert Fabio Romano claims they will be forced to purchase Pablo next summer.
The offer is a loan with an obligation to buy, with a mandatory clause in case Monza remains in Serie A next season.
