The terms have been agreed between Chelsea and Milan for Christian Pulisic. He can officially join Milan with medicals scheduled soon.
Christian Pulisic, who is 24 years old and currently plays for Borussia Dortmund, has been linked with a move to AC Milan, making this the Italian club’s fourth acquisition of the summer after Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Luka Romero.
There have been discussions going on between Milan and Chelsea for a considerable amount of time, and as of this evening (Friday), it has been reported by Sky Italia, Milannews.it, Sportitalia, and others that a complete agreement has been reached between all of the parties involved.
Before the appointment for the physical exam can be made, there are a few more administrative matters that need to be resolved. It is a done deal and Milan will pay Chelsea β¬20 million plus bonuses worth β¬3 million for the services of the United States international, who could play as a left winger, right winger, and behind the striker for Pioli’s Milan. The bonuses will be paid out over the course of the player’s contract.
Pulisic, whose career has been derailed by injuries, only wanted to sign with Milan, and he turned down other offers in order to give joining the club that has won the Champions League seven times the absolute priority it deserved. Milan will hope to find another player like Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic and he will sign a contract with the Diavolo that is good for four years.
Christian’s transfer to Milan is a contentious topic among supporters of the club because, while some believe he would be an improvement for Milan’s team, others believe that the club is primarily considering him because of his nationality as an American football player.
