Dusan Vlahovic’s header in the final minute of injury time ensured a remarkable comeback victory for Juventus, which they achieved by defeating Salernitana by a score of 2-1.

Due to a late goal scored by Dusan Vlahovic, Juventus were able to secure a 2-1 victory over Salernitana in the Serie A. Despite the fact that England’s Samuel Iling-Junior had cancelled out Giulio Maggiore’s early goal, it appeared as though Max Allegri’s title contenders would have to settle for a draw. However, Vlahovic scored with a header to guarantee that Juve closed back to within two points of Internazionale, who are currently in first place in the league.

Massimiliano Allegri’s team was unable to find the same spark in front of goal that led them to a 6-1 victory over Salernitana in the Coppa Italia just three days ago. The visitors had the majority of possession in the early parts of the game, but they were unable to find the same spark in front of goal.

Giulio Maggiore opened the scoring with a fantastic goal as the first half progressed. He showed quick feet to transfer the ball onto his left foot before curling his effort past Wojciech Szczesny and into the far corner. This was the start of the game for the home team, which made Juventus pay for their dull attacking display.

After the break, Weston McKennie missed a big opportunity to tie the score for Juventus. However, the game was flipped upside down when Maggiore went from being a hero to a villain by receiving a second yellow card early in the second half, which resulted in the home team being reduced to 10 men.

Samuel Iling-Junior scored just his second senior goal to tie the score with a thrashing finish into the roof of the net during the match.

Vlahovic completed the comeback in the first minute of added time by thundering home a header from Danilo’s cross to snatch victory for the Bianconeri against Salernitana, who were currently in last place in the table.
