Immobile has managed to be a key player for Lazio despite his issues, scoring nine goals and dishing out three assists in 20 Serie A appearances this season.

Immobile has been sidelined as a result of a first-degree injury to his left femoral biceps, according to official statement. He has already begun the healing process and will be unable to participate in the game against AZ Alkmaar.

The 32-year-old Italian forward’s participation in the upcoming match against Bologna, set for March 11, is now in question.
