Done Deal: Joaquín Correa to Olympique Marseille

Joaquin Correa will check in for his medicals with Olympique Marseille in accordance with the comprehensive transfer deal that has been completed between Inter and Olympique Marseille for the player.

The Argentinean striker, who is 29 years old and came to Milan from Lazio in a transaction for over €30 million, is on his way out of the city following an unimpressive two-year stint in the capital of the Lombardy region.

Correa played for Inter in 77 games across all competitions, however he was only able to score 10 goals and provide five assists. He was not a productive player for Simone Inzaghi’s team.

According to a report by Fabrizio Romano, Inter and Marseille have come to a complete agreement about the transfer of Correa. It is anticipated that Correa would move to Marseille on a €2m loan deal with a conditional buy clause attached worth €10 million.

Alexis Sanchez, on the other hand, is expected to switch teams and spend the next season playing for the Nerazzurri rather than the French Riveira. The attacker from Chile, who was 34 years old and had played for the club 44 times in total, was allowed to go on a free transfer last month. He scored 18 goals during his time there.
