After only one and a half seasons in Tuscany, striker Arthur Cabral has decided to move on from Fiorentina and join Benfica on a permanent transfer. This news was announced by the club Fiorentina.
Benfica announced that Cabral has signed a five-year deal with the club at the Estadio da Luz, which will keep him with the Portuguese giants until the summer of 2028.
Cabral finished the 2022–2023 season as Fiorentina’s leading scorer with 17 goals, taking into account goals scored in all competitions.
Eight of those goals were scored in the league, one was scored in the Coppa Italia, and seven more were scored in the Conference League, which was enough for him to finish tied for first place in the goal scoring race for the tournament.
M’Bala Nzola has officially moved to La Viola after making the move from Spezia in a deal that is estimated to be worth 12 million euros. In addition, the club has reached an agreement with River Plate for the transfer of Lucas Beltran. Oliver Christensen, a custodian, was also brought over from Hertha Berlin in this transfer.
