Milan will announce that they have acquired Noah Okafor as a new player after reaching an agreement with Salzburg regarding the transfer.
Milan has decided to sign striker Noah Okafor after failing to sign Marcus Thuram and making little headway in negotiations with Porto for Mehdi Taremi. The Rossoneri had been in talks with Porto for Mehdi Taremi for some time before deciding to sign Okafor.
The Swiss player has been on the team’s radar for some time, and now, seemingly out of the blue, they have reached an agreement to bring him to Milan and bolster the offence with his addition.
According to Fabrizio Romano, among other sources, all of the details have been worked out, and the player will undergo the medical examination tomorrow (Saturday), after which he will travel to the United States to join the team for the friendly matches there.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Okafor, who is capable of playing in any position in the attack, will cost Milan between 13 and 15 million euros, including bonuses. Because Okafor is from Europe, Milan will now be able to sign a right winger from outside the EU. Samuel Chukwueze of Villarreal is the club’s top target in this position, and Okafor will make that possible.
Okafor is the club’s sixth new acquisition of the summer, following Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero, Christian Pulisic, and Tijjani Reijnders. Marco Sportiello was the club’s first new acquisition of the summer. A significant player in the making who will compete with Olivier Giroud.
